We got married on August 12th and had Marilyn as our officiant. She was absolutely everything we wanted! We wanted it to be light-hearted, fun and still romantic and she delivered plus more. She got the crowd going before the wedding so that everyone felt like they were a part of the ceremony and everyone was all excited by the time it started. We were a little disorganized and didn’t have the papers filled out correctly, and I forgot my vows 🙁 She handled it like a pro, and made me feel so encouraged and comfortable as I was ad-libbing my vows. I could not have gotten a better person marrying us. Marilyn, thank you for making our day even better! You were the icing on the cake 🙂

We are so happy we hired our officiant from Young Hip & Married! Excellent service since the day we inquired and right up to our big day and even after. We are so lucky to have Marilyn and she is everything!! She is such an amazing person and so great with what she does and I couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. She’s perfect!! We wanted to reach out and say how great Marilyn was. She actually married Brandon’s sister 8 years ago, did our wedding, and will be doing our best man’s wedding in September this year. From our initial meet-and-greet at Starbucks, to our phone call a week before, and our rehearsal, we were continually impressed by her energy, enthusiasm and ability to walk us through everything. It was reassuring, calming, and we always knew we were in good hands with her. We were very happy with our ceremony and heard great comments from our guests about it.

Most of my life can be summed up by the saying, “better late than never”. So, in classic ‘me’ fashion, here’s my review for Young Hip & Married and Marilyn Knipp. We could not have been happier with the amazing ceremony that was presided over by Marilyn. The instant we met her for our initial meeting, we knew we wanted her to officiate our wedding day. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine happiness shone through her and she made us feel like we were her family. She listened to our ideas and helped us to create a truly intimate and personal ceremony. We have never been ones to do things “in the box”, and we were so blessed to have someone like Marilyn to help us plan and execute our ceremony, as well as help us wrangling our families on the day. Every step of the way was an amazing process, and every YH&M rep we spoke with was absolutely amazing. So endless thank you’s to the YH&M team and the amazing Marilyn. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Usually the ceremony is the most boring part of a wedding. I am happy to say that wasn’t the case for us. All of our guests said that our ceremony was the highlight of our wedding. Overall we had an amazing and memorable experience with Young Hip & Married. We started by picking our package based on what is most important to us and we got matched with Marilyn Knipp. Marilyn really listened to what is important to us and asked the right questions to help us think about what we really wanted for our ceremony. She is a great communicator and we felt understood and respected by her. During the actual ceremony, she gave us exactly what we wanted. She gave us the element of surprise that we both wanted, as well as humor, storytelling, and officiating. Everyone was very happy during the ceremony.

Marilyn from YH&M officiated our wedding and we could not be happier with how it went! We wanted our ceremony to be heartfelt, romantic, and laid back, but we also wanted it to be fun. My husband and I are not formal people and we knew we wanted to be able to laugh and maybe crack a few jokes. It was evident from our first meeting with Marilyn that she was the perfect person for the job! Our ceremony was everything we could have asked for and more; Marilyn was able to capture the spirit of our relationship so well. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved our ceremony, how beautiful it was, and that they felt like they were truly a part of the wedding rather than just spectators watching it play out. Thank you Marilyn for braving the rain with us and for all you did to help make our wedding day so magical!

We just got married in April 2017 by Marilyn Knipp and we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant!! We met Marilyn a few months before the wedding to get to know each other, but it was more like a session to understand yourself better. I learned so much about myself and what I wanted out of my relationship/marriage, as did my husband. Marilyn made us feel totally relaxed and brought us together during a really stressful time in our lives. I felt like she was my long lost mother that I could talk to and feel at ease with 🙂 Marilyn tailored our wedding based on our personalities – we wanted something laid back and fun yet still have the romantic aspect of the ceremony. She also made all our guests feel included and brought good vibes. I’m so happy we chose Marilyn to be our officiant. Thank you for making us laugh and lifting our spirits and overall helping us have the wedding of our dreams!!!

We had Marilyn as our officiant for our elopment at Sea to Sky Gondola. She was kind, funny, professional, and was really the perfect person to marry my wife and I. I do not have enough words for how special she made the ceremony for us both. Thanks so much, Marilyn and YHM for being a part of what made our special day perfect.

We used YH&M for our ceremony which was postponed a bunch of times due to pandemic restrictions. Every time they accommodated us without any issue and always had someone available. Our ceremony was officiated by Marylin. She was awesome! She kept everyone at ease and made the ceremony fun and memorable. Thank you Marylin and YH&M!

My partner, James, and I are a blended family. Untraditional, 3 kids, met online, you know… I saw Shawn at a friend’s wedding and loved his demeanor and words and contacted YHM for our wedding. Shawn was booked but the person who emailed me back was helpful in guiding me to who was available and a good fit. I picked Marilyn. She was easy to talk to and met with us right away. She asked all about our lives, how we met, our kids, pets, where we lived, our goals and what we wanted. All with a smile and a lot of laughter! One of the things I really appreciated was that she talked me into writing vows. I said I was too shy and she said I would regret it and she would help me. She sent me tips and coached me. I did it! As you will see from the video, I did it, cracking voice and all. I am forever grateful. She was great during the ceremony, went with our craziness and danced, laughed, fist pumped and gave some thoughtful words. I had so many compliments and people wondering where she came from as they have never seen such a ceremony and I quote my uncle, “That was the most real, unpretentious wedding ceremony I’ve ever been to. It was so you.” Thank you, thank you.

Right for us! Marilyn was our officiant. She was energetic, warm, and spoke well. We loved how she engaged the guests and included them in our wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was at times joyful and at times solemn – just right. Marilyn arrived early, and the ceremony started and ended as scheduled. We are grateful!

Our wedding ceremony went perfectly and we could not have been happier with it!
