These guys are the best! They know what great customer service is and they execute on it every single time. I got the rockin wedding package and they let me customize our ceremony 100%. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. I had Erika for my officiant. She’s just the loveliest person and is a truly talented officiant. I love the way she writes.

Erika was the PERFECT person to lead our wedding ceremony. From the moment I met her, her warm and engaging nature made me feel comfortable and at ease. After just one coffee visit and a short intake form, Erika created a draft ceremony script that was as if she had known Gary and I our whole lives. During the ceremony, she struck the perfect balance between having us and our guests in sentimental tears and light-hearted laughs, which is exactly what we wanted. Our wedding involved the fusion of Western and Sikh cultures, and Erika created a ceremony that honoured our parents and our backgrounds in a unique and perfect way, and gave us words of wisdom to remember as we move on in our marriage together. I cry every time I think of our ceremony and how perfect it was. Thank you for being such an important part of the start of our new lives together.

We were engaged in early April and between the pandemic and having all of our family on the other side of the country, we were unsure how we would plan our wedding. After scrolling through different wedding officiant services, something about YHMs page caught our eye. We had no idea where or when, but we sent off an email. From the very first response we could tell we chose correctly. They were so helpful and quick to respond, they spent time helping us decide where, and when we gave them our date, they immediately said they could accommodate us. Erika our officiant was so helpful with handling most of the wedding license process and guided us with the rest.

On our special day, our officiant Erika greeted us like old friends and we instantly felt comfortable. She was the perfect addition to our day and we will remember her fondly always! Our photographer, Erica, was also out of this world. She was there for the entire process from the first email. Showing us photos of locations and helping us decide on the perfect time. We got married standing next to the ocean at sunset and it was PERFECT. Erica even watched the weather and the tides leading up to our day to ensure the perfect day. Her genuine sincerity and the level of care that she puts into her clients and her work, is unmatched. We cannot imagine our day with anyone else. We are both pretty shy and Erica was able to direct us, without really telling us to pose, by just getting us to be ourselves and laugh; she was incredible. The photos are absolutely stunning; she captured every moment and every emotion in that moment. Our photos will forever make us laugh, cry and smile at all the detail and emotion she captured.

Everything with YHM was so seamless and stress-free, everything was planned so well and the communication was flawless. We wouldn’t change a thing about our day and we would recommend YHM to anyone who’s looking for something different, unique or personally tailored to what you had in mind – this group of people can make it happen. Young Hip and Married is an exceptional group of people who we felt genuinely cared that we have the best wedding experience possible, from the very beginning to the big day, and even after! In the past few years, I’ve been to a lot of weddings. They’ve all been beautiful, but none of the ceremonies felt like something I would want to have for my wedding. Young Hip & Married gave us the most amazing officiant, Erika, who blew us away with the way she was able to really understand us and blow us away with our customized ceremony! I would absolutely recommend them to every couple who wants their unique love story to be incorporated into their marriage ceremony.

I used YOUNG HIP AND MARRIED, to help assign an officiant for my elopement wedding. It was short notice and they were able to assign a wonderful officiant named Erika to come to our wedding. I really liked how efficient the company is; their main contact who organised everything with me always was available for any questions or problems that arose via text. Also being not super religious, I found the marriage vows the officiant wrote for us were perfect and did not focus on any religious aspects. Everything went smoothly, the price we paid for this company was very suitable. I would highly recommend it to young couples who want to take the hassle out of arranging an officiant and a photographer because the YH&M team will arrange it for you as part of their package (Depending on which package you select).

We cannot recommend YH&M enough, and in particular our absolutely amazing officiant Erika Enns. From the administration, to the owners, to our officiant, everyone was quick to respond, invested in our vision, and most importantly kind. We were one of the couples affected by the Sea to Sky Gondola, and they went above and beyond to ensure our officiant could make our new location for both our rehearsal and wedding. Our ceremony was personal and special, with all our guests saying it was the best they had seen!

We originally wanted to elope but YHM had an option of elopement with 20 guests and photographer. We are very happy we went with this as our families wanted to be witnesses. Both the photographer (Sarah) and the officiant (Erika) were great! There were some last minute changes and they were very flexible. Definitely recommend this company.

We both disliked the idea of a big wedding. YH&M provided us with all that we could ever need in a ceremony. Officiant Erika and photographer Tanja were both very professional. We had to hike less than 20mins to our destination (note: for a tiny extra travel fee) however overall worth it compared to paying thousands had we gone the “traditional route.”

This post is long over due, but here it is! I want to give a huge shout out to Erika, our officiant who went above and beyond to make my wedding happen. We were originally meant to get married on March 21, 2020 but that was the week everything was shutting down due to Covid-19. We had to cancel our big events that very week and we were unsure as to whether we could even continue with our smaller events. It was definitely stressful. So we called Erika to ask her if she was available earlier and she said she was. On March 16 (5 days earlier), Erika came to our house and made our ceremony happen. There were only 5 of us (me, my husband, Erika, her mom and friend as two witnesses) in our living room. Now it’s 5 months later and I am so happy that we made the decision that we did. I want to thank Erika for being so professional and so amazing. I would recommend Young Hip & Married and especially Erika!! Thank you again for making one of the most important days so special.

We got married in our home on Nov 7/21 and Erika Enns was our wedding officiant. She did a great job performing our wedding ceremony in front of our 4 adult children. We worked with Erika from YH&M for our wedding at Camp Fircom on the Sept long weekend. It was great right from the first meeting (we had 2). Her energy was great, we really clicked, and she was open to doing the ceremony different ways if we wanted, which was really comforting and refreshing for us. Before our second meeting she sent us what she had been working on, it was amazing, truly brought tears to our eyes as it touched us so. For the actual event, Erika was awesome. At the beginning of the ceremony, her presence commanded attention but not in an overbearing way at all. As soon as we were there she made us the focal point without us feeling nervous at all. The words she spoke were just as good as when we read them for the first time before that second meeting. She was engaging, she had warmth, and she spoke with meaningfulness. I would recommend YH&M and Erika to anyone, you’ll get a ceremony you’ll remember for all the right reasons!

We will recommend Erika from YH&M until the ends of the earth! After only a 2-hour coffee date with (us over a year before our wedding date), she wrote a ceremony script that seemed like she’s known us for years. We were able to collaborate on the script and make any changes we needed, and Erika offered us lots of different options for vows, ring exchanges and readings so that we could pick the ones that suited us the best. Our guests have raved about how personal and special our ceremony was ever since.

Erika was quick to respond to emails and was super flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid – she even wrote an abridged version of our ceremony for our elopement! Everything at YH&M was so smooth and stress-free, the team was easy to communicate with, made getting matched with Erika a breeze and were there to support us through the stressful postponement (twice) of our wedding day. The money spent on YH&M was by far the best choice at our wedding and we would do it over and over again.

We recently travelled to Vancouver from Ontario and put our faith in Young Hip and Married to make it all happen. They quickly assigned us an officiant who ended up being Erika. Erika helped up find the exact location after just showing her a picture of a previous wedding posted on the website. She knew how to get us the right answers and her communication was wonderful. So many of our guests told us the ceremony was their favourite part. You did the most amazing job, completely surpassing our expectations! I remember reading your first draft and crying happy tears because you just got us and captured us so perfectly. Thank you so much for your well wishes. We recently had Erika as our celebrant and it was by far the best decision we made. Erika completely understood us and customized our ceremony. So many of our guests told us their favourite part of the wedding was the ceremony. She was equal parts funny and emotional and captured us so perfectly. In addition to the fact she’s an amazing celebrant, it’s so obvious she loves what she does and is an amazing person. I just wish we could do it all over again!

BEST officiant ever!! We had the pleasure of having Erika be our officiant on our big day! We have been with her for 2 years and 2 reschedules, and her communication and understanding is amazing! She rewrote our script when we asked without hesitation, and always made sure we were happy! She is sooo sweet, friendly and lovely to be around.

Erika was super helpful during our rehearsal and gave us such ease of mind before leaving to make sure everything was running smoothly. She gave amazing suggestions and advice. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding day! We had the most amazing time and are so grateful for Young Hip and Married because we had such a great experience. There were a lot of things to be nervous about after so much anticipation, but I couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We have nothing but good things to say about Erika and the staff at YH&M! They were able to work with us and advise on the difficult procedures to do with COVID restrictions. When our original officiant with them had to drop out due to unforeseen circumstances, we were set up with a new and also great replacement immediately.

Erika and the YH&M team were great and helped us with the replanning of our wedding during the COVID pandemic. She tailored a wonderful ceremony for us, and ensured that we were able to have a safe wedding.

First off, what a way to kick off a west coast wedding! Even with the pouring rain, it was such an amazing wedding that we will forever cherish. Erika and I met a few days before the wedding for the very first time and she immediately felt like family.

On the wedding day, she came to pick me up at our hotel in Whistler and drove me to Pemberton so my husband and I could have our first look. We spent most of the drive talking as if we’ve known each other for a while. During the ceremony it rained so much that her iPad stopped working so she had to recite the rest of the ceremony from memory. What a beautiful ceremony it was.

We are forever blessed to have had a family member (cousin), to officiate our wedding. Even more special, that it was Erika!

I discovered Young Hip and Married when I was searching for places and ways to elope! Ironically, the day we decided to get married in Vancouver (the day before we were leaving on an Alaskan cruise), Tara had emailed me to see if I had any questions! It was fate! Erika officiated our helicopter elopement and she was wonderful! She was super warm, caring, and fun. We appreciated how she took an interest in us as people, and that was a big part of what made our ceremony feel perfect. The entire Young,Hip & Married team was excellent as well! Dayna was always very responsive and helpful and we felt supported the whole way through. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend YH&M to anyone seeking a unique elopement experience.

Young Hip & Married and our officiant, Erika Enns, made our special day even more special! We had an amazing small ceremony at the Lighthouse Park in Vancouver and everything went fantastic! From our first contact to the moment we got our Marriage Certificate – everything was organized professionally, timely communication and important reminders. Definitely recommend these guys!

Callan and I knew that we were looking for something different when it came to our ceremony. Not the traditional wedding officiant style that we had seen at weddings before. When we began our planing, we had not heard of Young Hip & Married until our wedding planner shared their website with us. After reviewing each of the team members videos and bios, we decided to meet Erika. Within 3 minutes of meeting Erika, we felt like we had been friends with her for 20 years and that she had been alongside our journey together the entire time. It was a perfect fit. The ceremony that Erika created was truly beautiful and perfectly us. The entire process was amazing from the first interview to each and every interaction we had with Erika and the YH&M team! I remember the day we got our first draft and I cried when I read it, because she had captured every essence of our relationship and love for one another in a way that was us. Best decision we made by far and would highly recommend them to anyone!!

My husband and I recently got married and our officiant, Erika, was amazing. She made the process so easy and we felt very comfortable and relaxed at our wedding. Young Hip & Married came recommended to us by family who are located in BC and had used them for their elopement. They praised how amazing they were to deal with and how great it was that they took care of everything. Being based in Saskatchewan proved to be no hurdle or barrier to amazing customer service from beginning to end, suggesting great locations for our elopement in BC and helping with anything from what we would need to get married within city limits with links to everything and all of the things you’d never think to ask. Danya was great to deal with from start to finish.

Our officiant Erika was absolutely phenomenal. She put together an amazing ceremony for us and thought of so many things we wouldn’t think to consider even down to sneaking out of frame before the “I Do” so that we had an amazing photo of our first kiss. She was super accommodating, thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire experience.

Erica was an amazing photographer and helped my husband and I through the entire session as a couple who have never had professional photos done. She had an amazing eye for great shots and was an absolute joy to spend our time with.

I cannot recommend Young Hip and Married enough. They were absolutely amazing! If you’re thinking of eloping, going with YH&M is an absolute no brainer! <3

We had such an amazing experience working with young hip & married. Especially our officiant Erika! Despite not being able to meet prior to our wedding due to Covid-19, the email communication was very prompt! I cant tell you the amount of times I bugged Rebecca and Erika with questions/changing of time line. They both were so great throughout the entire process. Erika was so kind, funny and all around a good time. Our ceremony was short and sweet just how we wanted it, in that short time of talking/meeting Erika my husband and I both felt so comfortable!! Not everyday you meet a “stranger” and feel so comfortable around them. One the best choices made as part of our wedding planning process. Erika. Is. AMAZING! Super friendly and charismatic! We opted for the Custom and Creative Ceremony option and, while it was a bit on the pricey side, it was worth every penny with many of our guests saying they loved the ceremony as it was unique and different from so many weddings they have attended in the past.
