Jane officiated our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing! We really wanted a wedding that was short and sweet but had a lot of fun and humor to it. Jane captured all of that! All our guests said the ceremony was so much fun and so “us” and we really appreciate how Jane could capture so much about the two of us.

She was also so quick to respond, even when we had to move the wedding date, and it was super easy to schedule meetings and our rehearsal. You can tell Jane loves to work to make your wedding your own and we really recommend her for anyone who wants to personalize their wedding and make it a fun experience everyone will remember!

We worked with Jane for our wedding and we are SO glad we did. Jane was incredibly professional and was able to adapt her style to the tone of the wedding. She really took the time to get to know us and was able to add personal touches to our ceremony that made all of the difference. She made the process of obtaining the marriage certificate seamless and it took a weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about submitting all the paperwork. She had so many great ideas for the flow of the ceremony which allowed things to run smooth and effortlessly.

We also took advantage of the vows course from YH&M and found it to be SO helpful! Having a framework allowed us to structure our thoughts and deliver some really great and persona vows to each other. We would absolutely recommend YH&M to anyone looking for an officiant service.

We were so lucky to have Jane from Young Hip & Married officiate our wedding on the beach in Vancouver. She was very communicative in advance of the day. This included a super helpful online call several months beforehand to meet her and discuss the ceremony structure/expectations, then giving plenty of time for us to read and make some minor adjustments to the ceremony plan/script, then a few emails prior to the big day to check in.

On the day, Jane did a fantastic job: really professional, really clear speech (some of our guests were not native English speakers and fully understood her), a lovely reading about the meaning of marriage, and just generally she was very kind and put us totally at ease! I couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Jane, and Young Hip & Married!
