The good people of Young Hip and Married (YHM) made our elopement so simple and hassle-free, which is exactly what we wanted. We just wanted to be married, with very minimal planning involved, and the helicopter elopement package offered by YHM was perfectly suited to our wants and needs.

Rebecca was our main point of contact throughout the entire process, and she was so kind, helpful and informative. I didn’t once have to stress out about anything; everything was smooth sailing from the get-go.

On wedding day, we had Rhona as our officiant, and I can’t begin to tell you what a kind, pure-hearted person she is, just from our interactions that day. She genuinely was so happy for us, and it felt like we had known her for years. Having someone like that officiate our marriage was so special. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about the way we planned our wedding, and how it ultimately played out that day. YHM made our elopement dreams even better than we could have imagined – thank you so much for doing what you do, and for loving love! <3

We would like to thank you again for being such a good spirit about the rain and really being professional throughout the ceremony despite getting completely poured on. A lot of our guests commented on what a trooper you were! Mauricio and I agreed that you were the real heart of the day and kept us thinking about what was really important and not worried about the rain as much as we could have.

If you don’t choose Rhona as your wedding officiant then you may as well not get married 😊 We both met Rhona for the first time as we both walked down the aisle. We couldn’t be happier in the officiant that we chose with her. Her personal demeanour, and what she wrote in her profile: “We honor all people: all races, all creeds, all political ideologies, all abilities, all ages, all expressions of gender, sexuality and who we love.” Were the reasons why we chose her to wed us as we have a son who is gay and that is important to us. I’ll start off by saying that Young Hip & Married is the way to go! Not only do you get a fantastic officiant that is hand selected for you, you get the support of the YH&M team! Unfortunately our original officiant wasn’t able to facilitate our ceremony but YH&M already had another officiant lined up. Rhona took the original officiant’s script that we built with her, and tweaked it to make it her own. The personalized ceremony was well worth the upgrade. Our guests loved hearing our story, and it was a beautiful way to say our “I do’s” and start our celebration. Thank you Rhona and the YH&M team for the best ceremony we could have asked for!

We were married by Rhona on a cold and rainy day in May. She was wonderful; calm, competent and so kind. She delivered a beautiful and well-paced ceremony. If we ever renew our vows we will definitely ask Rhona to be the officiant again!

When I was first looking for an officiant, I had a lot of concerns. I’m a non-traditional bride and our wedding was so diverse that I was worried that I would have a super traditional and rigid officiant. My husband and I found YH&M through looking up online reviews and we were really drawn to the fact that we could customize the ceremony. They were so responsive once we filled in the information form. We got to meet our officiant before making any commitments as well.

Our officiant was Rhona and she was absolutely amazing!! Her energy matched my partner and I so well. She was so helpful and responsive when we emailed her with questions. Having her at our rehearsal made everything run so smoothly on the day. We asked her for a very sweet ceremony with some humour and she absolutely delivered! The ceremony was absolutely the highlight of the wedding. All of our friends and family thought she was great!

We found Young Hip & Married in 2021 when we were considering an elopement package. When 2022 rolled around and we decided to have an in-person wedding we decided to reach out to them again. And we’re so happy we did!

Through YH&M we found both our wedding officiant, Rhona Segarra, and our wedding photographer, Clint Bargen. Both were absolutely the best! We met with them online first and decided to work together because our values really synced up with theirs.

Rhona was very sweet and was totally prepared when the time came. She was able to keep us calm and grounded so that we could be present and enjoy the moment. Many of our guests commented that the words she chose were very moving. And that she smiled and seemed to really enjoy the ceremony.

Clint takes wedding photography to a whole other level! Not only did he take beautiful pictures that captured the moment he also helped us through each moment throughout the day. He’s been to more weddings than we have and was a dedicated guide. We didn’t know how to do the ceremonial cake cutting and Clint took over and gave some simple instructions so we felt comfortable in front of our gather family and friends.

If we had to do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing.
