I’ve been a bridesmaid many times, and I love that no two ceremonies are ever alike. But it was my own wedding that taught me there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this work. Our officiant showed up late, and we never saw our script ahead of time. That experience pushed me to reach out to a Young Hip & Married officiant I admired, shadow her, and learn this craft from the ground up.
Here’s what I want for you: a ceremony that’s true to who you are, where you have nothing to worry about but each other. My job is to build enough trust that you can be fully PRESENT — actually enjoying one of the biggest moments of your life instead of sweating the details.
So I give you all the information upfront. No surprises, no guessing — just clear communication and the confidence that I’ve got you covered, no matter what. And when the ceremony ends, I want everyone (especially you two) to leave buzzing, still floating on the love in the air, ready to celebrate whatever comes next.
Angelica’s Story
My own love story started back in high school. My husband and I are coming up on 20+ years together, so I know a thing or two about what it means to commit and build a life with someone. Our two cats are cherished companions, and I feel lucky to share my life with them.
When I’m not celebrating other people’s love stories, I’m probably lost in one. I’m a devoted book lover — fiction only — and if it’s good, I’ll finish it in a day. There’s nothing I love more than a story that pulls me into a whole new world, which is probably why I care so much about helping couples tell theirs.
When I’m not reading, you’ll find me out exploring, always on the hunt for a beautiful new place to walk. Bonus points if there’s coffee or a pastry at the end.
