If you’re looking to get some inspiration for your upcoming nuptials, you won’t find any shortage of that on Pinterest, Instagram and wedding websites online. But it all comes to life in front of your eyes at a wedding show. Here are a few wedding shows coming to Vancouver and the Lower Mainland in the next year.
And if you’re in Calgary, we’ve included a few wedding shows for you too!
2017
BeYOUtiful Bridal Wedding Show
If you need a wedding show in your life right away, you’ve got to get to BeYoutiful Bridal Wedding Show in Surrey on June 29 as it’s one of the few shows being held this summer. They’ll hold another one in Langley on September 19. There will be 25+ wedding vendors, door prizes, draws and inexpensive/free admission.
Wedding & Honeymoon Fall Show
On October 1, head to the Vancouver Convention Center for what event producers describe as, “the traditional wedding show…with some flair!” At the Vancouver Wedding & Honeymoon Show you’ll find gowns, cakes, favours, decor, lingerie, photographers, planners, musicians and everything else you could possibly need!
Union LGBT+ Wedding Show
Union Wedding Show is Western Canada’s first LGBT+ wedding show that features the best wedding professionals in an inclusive and fabulous environment. Visit them on October 21 at Heritage Hall in Mount Pleasant. Also check out their awesome list of LGBT+ owned or allied business on their Resources page.
Glass Slipper Wedding Show
Glass Slipper Wedding Show, hosted by Glass Slipper Event Planning, is happening at the Fort Langley Community Hall on October 15. An intimate group of handpicked vendors will greet you and answer all of your wedding questions. Best of all: Brides get in for free and receive free concierge service, sparkling wine, canapes and a chance to win great prizes.
Creme de la Creme
The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is hosting Creme de la Creme on November 19 where they’ll present “a culmination of all of your dreams and expectations.” Take advantage of early bird ticket prices to enjoy a wedding showcase and haute couture wedding fashion show.
All Dressed in White Bridal Show
Head to Cloverdale Exhibition Centre in Surrey on November 4 & 5 for the All Dressed in White Bridal Show. Visit their website for a full schedule of events including a fashion show, battle of the brides cake dive and prize draws.
2018
Most wedding shows are held in the winter/spring so here are a few to look forward to attending in the new year. Mark your calendars!
150+ vendors at BC’s biggest wedding show at Westin Bayshore Hotel on January 13 & 14
Also on January 13 & 14 at the Abbotsford Tradex, there will be lots of vendors, a $40,000 Ultimate Wedding prize and a chance to be styled by Monte Durham from Say Yes To The Dress.
On February 25 at the Richmond River Rock Casino Resort look forward to an intimate wedding show with lots of focus on style and a $10,000 grand prize.

Calgary
Bridal Expo
This fall, Calgary’s big wedding show, Bridal Expo, is being held at the CMO Centre on September 17, 2017. There will be fashion shows, gown sales and an artisan market.
The Wedding Fair
Starting off the 2018 shows is The Wedding Fair, also held at BMO Centre, on January 14. The largest show in Alberta provides couples with everything they need to plan a wedding and hosts over 250 exhibitors.
The Bash
On January 20 and 21, head to Festival Hall in Inglewood for The Bash. The Bash isn’t your typical wedding show but instead they have curated the most trendy and innovative wedding creatives to give you a fresh look on weddings.
Bridal Fantasy Calgary
The Calgary Telus Convention Centre hosts Bridal Fantasy Calgary, Calgary’s hottest boutique bridal show, on January 28. Get ready for a fashion show, amazing prizes and the latest trends in flowers, hair, makeup and more!
