Our Vancouver Island officiant had the incredible pleasure to marry Kiyomi and Tim on September 6th, 2014. It was a truly beautiful setting for an absolutely amazing couple. It doesn’t get better than this for a Vancouver Island wedding!
Kiyomi and Tim are both from New Zealand but chose to travel to Canada and get married on Vancouver Island. Despite New Zealand being a beautiful place for a wedding, the couple chose Canada because it was a meaningful location for them. Kiyomi actually grew up in Canada, and a wedding here meant a chance to unite their two families.
Kiyomi grew up vacationing at The Alders Beach Resort on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Naturally, it only made sense for her and Tim to choose The Alders as their wedding venue. Not only is it a stunning place, but it brought back sweet memories for Kiyomi and her family.
While planning a wedding is no easy feat, it’s even doubly hard to plan a destination wedding from the other side of the world. But Tim and Kiyomi pulled it off. Not only did they plan a stunning wedding but they turned it into a full vacation for their guests, hosting them in cabins at the resort.
This wedding was so beautiful in the details, that Wedding Bells featured it. You can click here to see more amazing pictures and details from this fabulous couple and their stunning Vancouver Island wedding day.
Julia, from Ameris Photography out did herself capturing the wonder and beauty of the day. She shared her experience of Tim and Kiyomi’s wedding day, which you can read here.
