When Brian and I got engaged, one of the first things we did was hire an officiant from YH&M. We watched all the video bios and chose Jane as our officiant for the big day!

Thanks to Young Hip & Married we had a very stress-free experience, I honestly think it’s the only way to get married. We would have never thought to get married at Bloedel Conservatory but the minute we seen it suggested on the website we knew it was the perfect place.

Young Hip & Married were incredible. They help connect you with an officiant; we had Jane for our special day. She laid everything out clear and simple and allowed us to make adjustments to the ceremony.

Jane had great communication and was always quick to respond. She had great suggestions when we felt lost or didn’t know what to do. Young Hip & Married also offer the option of helping set up pre-marriage counselling and tell you where you can get a marriage license. The communication was incredible and extremely helpful. They took the stress out of everything!

The Young Hip & Married team was so easy to work with; everyone there was very kind, knowledgeable and had extreme patience with all the questions I had asked. And they were always unbelievably quick at responding back to me emails and inquiries!

They provided so much information to help me through the process of getting married. They have so many options, packages and add-ons available to tailor the event exactly the way you’d like it. They offered the perfect package for my needs, having my friend officiant the actual ceremony and keeping the real officiant’s time with us short and sweet just to get the legal paperwork done.

Our officiant Jane was well organized prior to the wedding date to ensure we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of. She arrived promptly and at a time that best suited our day and concluded the whole thing in less than 5 minutes! They took all the stress about legal paperwork right off my plate so it was everything I could’ve asked for. I highly recommend working with the Young Hip and Married team!

The whole experience from start to finish was amazing! My wife and I booked in our zoom pre call with Jane and instantly knew she would be our officiant. Working with Young Hip and Married made our wedding so smooth and stress free. Last minute we had to move our wedding date up by several months but there were no issues; they really took care of us. Jane and Erica were so wonderful and accommodating; communication was impeccable!

Young Hip & Married were SO easy to work with. We’re in Australia and submitted an enquiry about eloping before travelling to Canada. They got straight back to us with a personalised video and all the details we needed. It was made super simple – all we had to do was pick a time and location; they did the rest! We wanted a simple, very casual ceremony with just us. We met the celebrant (Jane ) and photographer (Emily) at the park we chose and the ceremony and photos were all done within an hour. It was perfect!

We didn’t know where to start when planning our small, backyard wedding. I Googled different options and was happy to see the range of packages offered by Young Hip & Married. We booked the elopement package with 90 minutes of photography and it was just enough. Our officiant was Jane and she was really collaborative and responsive when developing our ceremony. Our ceremony was the best part of our wedding day and that is all thanks to Young Hip & Married! Jane Halton officiated our ceremony and from start to finish, it was perfect. We booked Jane with only a month to go due to some covid changes and she immediately jumped into action. Jane Halton recently officiated our wedding. She was perfect to work with. We had a vision in mind for our ceremony and learned throughout the process with her that what we actually wanted, wasn’t what we thought we wanted when we had started the process. Our ceremony turned out perfectly, and that was in large part as a result of her guidance, patience and flexibility with us.

Wonderful experience. At first we were hesitant about it – this is quite a non-traditional experience. YH&M was always responsive to us though and provided all the details we needed. My wife and I are actually from Atlanta, GA and had a destination wedding in Vancouver, so YH&M worked perfectly for us. Jane (our officiant) had prepared a lovely intro speech before we said our vows. It was surprising and very heart-warming! The photographer (Amber) was also very friendly and took photos for us in various locations in the city following the ceremony. All in all, this was a worthwhile experience and worth our money. Highly recommended.

How do I even begin? From the start of contacting YH&M they were All Stars. Absolutely amazing customer service. The entire Young Hip and Married team were amazing throughout the entire process! We had an elopement wedding with last minute changes right up until the very last minute which they were very accommodating to. Our Officiant Jane was amazing. She was so kind and professional and her wedding speech was so inspirational for a couple embarking on the life long union of marriage. Although it was a very short elopement wedding, she took her time and we never felt rushed even though both of our vows ran a little longer than anticipated. She was very organized with our paper work and continued to communicate with us after the wedding regarding the timeline of when we would be receiving our marriage certificate. Erica, our photographer, was also amazing from start to finish. She is so talented on capturing every special moment throughout a wedding ceremony. Although we had a short amount of time with her, we also never felt rushed. YH&M were great! We had a unique ceremony where a close friend acted led the ceremony and the reading of the vows. YH&M were present at the ceremony for the official signing of the marriage license only (as per our wishes). They were very flexible and accommodating about their role in the ceremony. They did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend them.

From the moment we contacted them, the customer service was amazing! Jackie sent us a super fun personable video and was prompt to respond to our questions. Jane helped us pick a location to get married and was also very quick to respond to any questions we had. Jane’s energy was great during the ceremony. We also loved her outfit! Would highly recommend Young Hip and Married!

Our officiant was Jane! To keep it short & sweet, I think it was a little daunting to have to explain our relationship to someone, anyone. We didn’t have a theme, we don’t realllyy have any extreme activities we do together. We’re the Netflix and chill, get coffee, be with our family & friends couple and Jane didn’t bat an eye. She got it, she wrote it, we made little to zero corrections and she killed it at the ceremony. Most importantly she kept the attention of our guests, and made sure they knew how much we loved them too. Also, she’s great at keeping secrets (we had a surprise wedding). And I realized it must have been interesting to write something where we didn’t want her to talk about marriage itself (lots of divorces there that night) and just us. So thank you Jane, it was everything we could have Asked for. Also, they made a welcome video when you inquire and it’s the loveliest touch.

It was so easy to coordinate our elopement ceremony with YH&M. We reached out via email about a month beforehand, told them our date, and we were good to go. They also sourced a photographer for us. We had a great experience using Young Hip and Married for our wedding! We had Jane as our officiant – she was super friendly and was very easy to communicate with throughout our whole wedding process. We had to change our venue 3 times, and she was able to accommodate every change we made. She wasn’t able to make it to our rehearsal, but she made us a personal video outlining every important detail for us to know. She was very responsive to our emails and questions; we couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. Would recommend using her and YH&M for your ceremony!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding officiant than Jane. She is laid back enough to make it fun and non-stressful to work with her, but not so laid back that she is casual or trivial—she takes seriously the significance and honour of the ceremony. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and this allowed her to be very personal in her homily, and to speak words of encouragement and challenge that will remain with us for a lifetime.
