YH&M were great! We had a unique ceremony where a close friend acted led the ceremony and the reading of the vows. YH&M were present at the ceremony for the official signing of the marriage license only (as per our wishes). They were very flexible and accommodating about their role in the ceremony. They did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend them.

We had such an amazing experience with Young Hip & Married! The whole process was clear and easy to navigate. The website was detailed but not too overwhelming.

We decided to elope at Stanley Park Rose Garden in Vancouver, B.C. and the YHM team provided all the information we needed to make sure we knew how and where to purchase our wedding license, park permit and liability insurance. Communication with the staff from when we paid online all the way to our wedding day was helpful, kind, and quick.

We loved the awesome vow writing class (that was an added free bonus) ahead of our wedding date and Jane, our amazing officiant took time to chat with us a few weeks before to answer our questions and make sure we felt at ease.

The day of our elopement was perfect! Jane met us at the park and together we found the perfect spot. She made sure we felt ready to go and then proceeded to facilitate a lovely, intimate, and joyful ceremony. It was everything we wanted. The entire Young Hip and Married team were amazing throughout the entire process! We had an elopement wedding with last minute changes right up until the very last minute which they were very accommodating to. Our Officiant Jane was amazing. She was so kind and professional and her wedding speech was so inspirational for a couple embarking on the life long union of marriage. Although it was a very short elopement wedding, she took her time and we never felt rushed even though both of our vows ran a little longer than anticipated. She was very organized with our paper work and continued to communicate with us after the wedding regarding the timeline of when we would be receiving our marriage certificate. Erica, our photographer, was also amazing from start to finish. She is so talented on capturing every special moment throughout a wedding ceremony. Although we had a short amount of time with her, we also never felt rushed. She was so friendly and it felt like we were able to get all the photos in we wanted as well as her input on some more photos she thought would look beautiful also. She is so creative in her work and I am sure the photos will turn out beautifully! I hope to use her talent again in the future. How do I even begin? From the start of contacting YH&M they were All Stars. Absolutely amazing customer service. Jane our officiant was wonderful! She was quick with replying and so patient with us as we were not the easiest in communicating back with her. Having a personalized ceremony was extremely important to us. Have you ever been to a wedding that left you with confusion, that was emotionless or maybe one that simply didn’t reflect who the couple really was? We have been to plenty of those, and we can tell you that Young Hip & Married is the complete opposite! We had the pleasure of working with Jane, who drafted up the most personal ceremony we could have ever imagined. From quick email responses, unrelenting enthusiasm and authentic happiness for our upcoming wedding we could not have made a better decision having Jane as our officiant. It’s no wonder than Jane won “Best Wedding Officiant” at the BC Wedding Awards this past year! We also took advantage of their Marriage Coaching add-on that allowed us to ultimately address some topics that could have the potential to cause a rift at some point down the road (for any couple who has never had a heated discussion about something to do with money, you’re lying to yourself). Like most couples, we only plan on getting married once, so we owed it to ourselves to invest into our marriage before it even begun. It was so easy to coordinate our elopement ceremony with YH&M. We reached out via email about a month beforehand, told them our date, and we were good to go. They also sourced a photographer for us. Jane was the officiant for our wedding and she did such an amazing job. She was very detailed, attentive, answered all our questions, was flexible and knowledgable in editing our scripts, and provided lots of resources for helping us write our vows. Her professionalism definitely showed at our ceremony rehearsal! She knew where certain people should stand, how/when the music should be played, etc. Her speech was perfect – touching, personal, and funny. She was completely respectful of our needs and wants for our ceremony and made everything 100% about us. We will happily recommend Young Hip & Married to all our friends!

Jane’s ceremony script was so personalized and sweet. She put a lot of work into making it tailored to us and did such an amazing job reading it at the ceremony. YH&M was the perfect vendor to handle our ceremony. Jane was professional, courteous, and accommodating, and really went the extra mile to ensure our ceremony was unique and special for both us and our guests. Rhona handled our rehearsal the night before and the two of them seamlessly were able to make the transition between the two days. We would also very much recommend the vow writing course. It really gives you a great framework and structure and we heard from many of our guests that our vows were so special and one of their favorite parts of the ceremony. When Brian and I got engaged, one of the first things we did was hire an officiant from YH&M. We watched all the video bios and chose Jane as our officiant for the big day!

We wanted out ceremony to be light and fun, while also being sincere and heartfelt. Basically, we wanted it all! And boy, did Jane deliver! There were giggles & tears, with a side of nerdiness. It was perfect.

We had a great experience with Jane. She gave us lots of resources so we could figure out what we wanted for our ceremony. We were able to choose our vows from the great list that she gave us and she walked us through each detail and listened to all of our wants and revisions to the general template that she had. It was important that our ceremony was simple, short, and intimate – which meant it was more informal than your regular ceremony. Many of our guests said it was perfect – that it wasn’t so long and full of pomp as other weddings – but felt special and reflected who we were as individuals and a couple. Neither of us are religious, and my wife feels that some traditions go against her feminist beliefs. Jane ensured our voices were heard and the result was a ceremony that had us laughing, had us crying, and made us remember that this moment doesn’t last long – so we have to enjoy and savor everyone minute.

Everyone at Young Hip and Married was friendly, helpful, flexible with schedule of the officiant. Jane, our officiant, understood what we wanted and made it happened . We didn’t decide our elopement ceremony location until the evening before our elopement and Jane never put pressure on u. In general Young Hip & Married is the right wedding service if you want to have a relaxed, personalized wedding. We recently did our wedding through Young Hip & Married and it was honestly perfect. The wedding was small, intimate, easy to set up, and went off flawlessly. Young Hip & Married were incredible. They help connect you with an officiant; we had Jane for our special day. She laid everything out clear and simple and allowed us to make adjustments to the ceremony.

Jane had great communication and was always quick to respond. She had great suggestions when we felt lost or didn’t know what to do. Young Hip & Married also offer the option of helping set up pre-marriage counselling and tell you where you can get a marriage license. The communication was incredible and extremely helpful. They took the stress out of everything!

My husband and I had friends who where married a few years ago and the thing I most remembered about their wedding was the ceremony. Since usually the ceremony tends to be the most unmemorable thing about a wedding, and not what I wanted mine to be, I asked them who they used. Young Hip and Married was the answer. Loved working with Young Hip and Married for our intimate elopement! I’m easily stressed out and wanted to have a small elopement with close friends and family. YHM was simple and straight forward when leading up to the wedding. We were sent the script before hand to know exactly what was going to be said. Our officiant Jane was so nice and easy going! And even though we had seen the script beforehand, Jane’s delivery was so natural and felt so personal! Even though we went with a small elopement it still felt very legitimately like a small wedding experience! It was exactly what we wanted. We had Erica (EricaMillerPhotography) as our photographer. She was so fun to work with and the photos turned out Great! So Glad Jane and Erica could be a part of our beautiful day! Young Hip and Married was definitely a good choice for us!

We had this team booked for us through a ceremony package and the whole experience was great! We received a full overview of how the day was going to go and a step by step about writing vows etc Overall it was all super easy which I think everyone wants on their wedding day!

We had such an amazing experience with Young Hip & Married! The whole process was clear and easy to navigate. The website was detailed but not too overwhelming.

We decided to elope at Stanley Park Rose Garden in Vancouver, B.C. and the YHM team provided all the information we needed to make sure we knew how and where to purchase our wedding license, park permit and liability insurance. Communication with the staff from when we paid online all the way to our wedding day was helpful, kind, and quick.
